About the collective

our story

SAMY Arts Collective is a platform for progress. We believe creativity thrives when everyone has the space to be seen, heard and supported. That’s why we put people at the heart of everything we do — artists, communities, partners and the audiences they inspire.

From production and event organisation to arts management and creative mentoring, we bring a fresh approach to a very traditional industry. Our approach is always rooted in genuine care for the people we collaborate with.

There are many ways we can work with you to create lasting change and we are a collective where everyone is welcome.

sam + amy = samy

SAMY Arts Collective is built on the belief that creativity thrives through collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and shared vision.

At the heart of SAMY is a commitment to bringing calm thinking, strong planning, and real industry experience to every project, whether producing live events, supporting organisations, or guiding creatives through moments of change in their careers.

We believe the arts are not just about what happens on stage, but about the people, structures and journeys that make those moments possible.

If you’re dreaming up something bold, immersive, or a little bit different, you’re in the right place

Samantha Henderson

My work has always been about people, creating environments where creativity can happen safely, calmly, and at scale.

Over the past three decades, I’ve worked across television, film, theatre, and live events, supporting ambitious ideas from early concept through to delivery. My experience encompasses television work, both studio-based and on location across the US and Europe,  alongside international film shoots and large-scale live productions in the UK and Europe involving hundreds of participants.

I’ve delivered documentaries for National Geographic and Animal Planet, worked on broadcast shows for ITV and BBC, and supported productions for Disney, Cameron Mackintosh, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

A significant part of my career has been spent working with children and young people,  leading large teams, managing complex logistics, and ensuring that everyone involved feels safe, supported, and able to do their best work. I’m a trained Safeguarding Lead, and care-led delivery sits at the heart of everything I do.

More recently, I’ve brought this experience into live and immersive spaces,  working over several years on a small music festival and collaborating with Instagram influencers to create festival-style wellbeing days that blend performance, atmosphere, and genuine human connection.

Amy Leppard-Parker

My working approach is people-first. I believe in building safe, fair, and adaptive environments that allow individuals to thrive; whether backstage, in the office, or in a rehearsal room.

I’ve led diverse teams in complex, high-pressure environments, in companies such as English National Ballet, The Walt Disney Company, Greene Light Stage and now as Executive Producer at TEA films. This grounding has taught me the importance of collaboration, empathy, and clarity.

I originally trained in Stage Management at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and from there I went on to work in various stage management roles at companies such as Royal Ballet, New Adventures and Buxton International Festival. My background in stage management and theatre general management gives me a unique ability to understand the experience and needs of artists, theatre personnel and working complexities of the planning and organisation that is required for complex organisations and artistic excellence.

From 2020 to 2025, whilst working, I studied at University of London to achieve a Master of Business Administration and CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. My MBA and CIM qualification have given me formal training in leadership, governance, and strategic planning, equipping me with the tools to manage organisations while remaining values led.

The way we act and treat people matters more to us than anything else
